Global Warming and Public Health

Californians already live with the most polluted air in the nation. And since hot weather exacerbates air pollution, global warming will surely lead to increases in asthma, respiratory and circulatory ailments. More heat-related deaths and increased pest and insect-born diseases may also occur as a result of higher temperatures brought on by global warming.
